Pungent and warm, ginger oil offers important benefits especially during cold and flu season. It provides excellent soothing benefits to the digestive system, helping to relieve nausea and as an expectorant, and for congestion, coughs and sore throat. Ginger calms spasms leading to coughing "fits". And helps eliminate mucus from the lungs. Ginger is also beneficial for nausea due to morning sickness, motions sickness, chemotherapy and general anesthesia. Ginger also aides digestion, and is helpful for constipation, diarrhea, stomach ache, indigestion, and nausea. Because of its anti-inflammatory properties, it can be beneficial for some types of migraine headache, as well as arthritis and rheumatism, and back pain. How do I use Ginger? The best way to use Ginger for nausea and/or cough is in your diffuser. Ginger can also be applied topically for nausea or stomach issues. Just dilute then apply to the stomach, lower back and behind the ears. For back pain, or cold or flu symptoms, apply diluted topically on location. For migraines or other headaches, apply diluted to the areas immediately upon onset. To purchase Josiah's 100% Pure Ginger Root Essential oil, click here.
