 Healing Benefits of Shea Butter

Raw Shea butter is extracted from the fat of the nut of the shea tree (Vitellaria paradoxa) in West Africa. High levels of natura anti-oxidants and essential fatty acids found within the nut's buttery contentshave proven extremely effective for moisturizing and repairing damaged
skin.  Unprocessed, Raw Butter is the only way to reap these intensive vitamins and nutrients for your own skin.  The chemical processing, which is done commercially, destroys the intensive vitamins and nutrients in the butter. [Raw butter varies in color, odor and texture because it is a natural product from the fat of the nut]

Raw Shea Butter is like food for the skin containing Vitamins A, E and F. Vitamins A and E help the skin keep itself healthy. These vitamins are especially important when it comes to helping sun damaged skin heal. Raw Shea Butter works wonders in healing.  It shortens healing time of cuts/burns and reduces accompanying dark marks.

It is a pure emollient which penetrates the skin quickly; indeed, Shea Butter
moisturizes
your scalp
and helps to reduce and
eliminate dandruff.  If you have dry skin,Eczema,
or psoriasis using Shea Butter provides natural moisture to your skin and immediate relief from itching.

For babies, over the counter creams are often too harsh for a
diaper rash, and can cause further irritation as well as expose the skin to chemicals.  Why not sooth your baby’s bottom with raw Shea Butter instead?  It will not only help heal the rash, but also provide a natural barrier against moisture.

Vitamins A, E and F assist in staving off
premature wrinkles and facial lines. Vitamin F serves to protect the skin as well as help it heal. It soothes rough, dry or chapped skin and helps soften
dry or damaged hair
.

Because Raw Shea Butter easily penetrates the skin allowing the skin to breathe and not clogging pores it can deliver it's nutritional power better than other man-made moisturizers. Shea Butter also naturally contains cinnamic acid, a
natural sun screen.  It is a main ingredient in Josiah's Oils Sunny Day Lotion Butter containing natural sun block!

When certain oils are diffused in a home, office or classroom, they purify the air itself.  They also increase the atmospheric oxygen of the air and dramatically inhibit the growth and reproduction of airborne pathogens. The oils rapidly kill bacteria, viruses -- even mold. They can also help to destroy odors from mold, cigarettes, household pets, bathrooms and more.  The essential oils blend found in our  Sanitizing Spray (specifically cinnamon, clove, lemon, rosemary) has been tested to kill airborne viruses and bacteria. [See 1998 Study Weber State  Univer.]  Indeed, cinnamon bark – one of our blend’s main ingredients – was tested most effective at killing even resistant strains such as MRSA.
